PPP could build $2.3B light rail to Denver International Airport

Two bidders for a public-private partnership for light rail from the western suburbs to Denver International Airport submitted proposals on Tuesday. Denver Transit Partners and Mountain-Air Transit Partners have both agreed to provide $900 million in financing for the $2.3 billion project. The light rail would link downtown's Union Station to the airport and build a Gold Line to Arvada and Wheat Ridge.
