CMS makes first Medicaid EHR incentive payments to 4 doctors

The CMS has issued its first incentive payments to four Medicaid providers who have satisfied the stage 1 EHR meaningful use requirements. Three doctors at a multispecialty practice in Iowa and an internal medicine provider in Texas each earned $18,000 in federal incentives on Wednesday.
