Caterpillar to restart negotiations with union group at Milwaukee site

Caterpillar plans to restart contract-renewal negotiations with a union group that represents about 800 workers at its Milwaukee facility. The union previously turned down a contract that would have frozen wages for current employees and put new hires in a lower-tier wage level. The company and the union group are expected to return to the negotiating table May 23.
