Siemens Healthcare and Louisiana State University at Shreveport confirmed a data breach involving 8,330 patients after an error in a field used for computer data entry resulted in the distribution of incorrect billing and treatment data to patients. Compromised information included patients' complete blood count tests and vaccination information.
