DIRECTV is said to be mulling Hulu investment or acquisition

DIRECTV is the latest company that is said to be interested in video site Hulu, but it's not clear whether the satcaster is looking to acquire a stake or the whole site. DIRECTV also reportedly considered a Hulu acquisition in 2011. Other potential buyers or investors for Hulu, which is owned by Walt Disney Co., News Corp. and Comcast, are said to be Time Warner Cable, Guggenheim Partners, Yahoo and an investment group led by ex-News Corp. President Peter Chernin.
