Fla. ruling extends statute of limitations to securities arbitration

A Florida Supreme Court ruling may lead to shorter times for investors to file complaints with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. The court extended the state's statute of limitations from court proceedings to include arbitration cases between investors and brokers in a case involving Raymond James Financial Services. The Financial Services Institute had filed a brief supporting Raymond James.
