Home Depot, Lowe's to get a boost from post-Sandy rebuilding

Home Depot's 10,000-square-foot satellite store in Seaside Heights, N.J., opened in the first quarter to serve contractors rebuilding homes ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. The home-improvement retailer and rival Lowe's are expected to report a sales bump in the quarter as the Federal Emergency Management Agency pays out a total of $1.38 billion in Sandy-related assistance.
