Hotels bring back the human touch with personalized wake-up calls

A number of hotels have reverted to sending staff up to guest rooms for their wake-up call as the competition for brand differentiation heats up in the lodging industry. Some properties, such as the Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico, offer wake-up calls by butlers carrying complimentary coffee and tea.
