Minn. DOT: Students can learn from St. Croix River Bridge project

Minnesota's Transportation Department is working with schools to tell students that the St. Croix River Bridge between Minnesota and Wisconsin can serve as a "learning laboratory." Some eighth-grade students will build robots with sensors to evaluate the alterations in the movement and structure of the bridge. "It's just a more fun way to learn about math and science," said one student. "You're not just reading from a textbook. You get to experiment and have fun with it."
