Mobile leads the way in Australia for online ad spending

Ad spending on mobile platforms increased 182% year-on-year in the first quarter in Australia, sharply outpacing the 15% growth in overall online spend, according to data from PricewaterhouseCoopers. For the first time, ads on tablets accounted for a majority of overall mobile spend.
