Pinterest woos advertisers with branded-pin feature

Social media platform Pinterest has partnered with a handful of companies to add more branded content to user "pins" by tying images to associated retailers. Separately, Pinterest took steps to expand its mobile presence with deals to add its "pin it" button to other third-party applications, including Etsy, Fotopedia, Jetsetter and ModCloth.
