PSA effort to educate minority parents about autism

Advocacy group Autism Speaks, in conjunction with the Advertising Council, is launching a multiplatform PSA effort targeting Hispanic and African-American parents. The ads, which will include TV, print and outdoor placements, provide "realistic situations parents will identify with" to help them identify the potential signs of autism, according to Peggy Conlon, the Ad Council's president and CEO.
