UN Security Council weighs cross-border humanitarian aid for Syria

United Nations aid agencies are asking the Security Council to pass a humanitarian resolution on cross-border access to Syria, but such a vote likely will wait until after a peace conference scheduled for June, diplomats said. Meanwhile, UN aid workers are appealing to the Syrian government to be allowed to make deliveries in the rebel-held portions of the country.
