Vodafone looks to tap cricket buzz in India

Vodafone recently launched a branded "Fancam" for fans of Indian Premier League cricket, which allows game attendees to tag themselves and friends in 360-degree photos of key cricket matches and share the images online. "Cricket is a topic of discussion, a talking point and something consumers share naturally. When you go to watch a match, it is a personal experience; you can now share it using the power of social," said Unny Radhakrishnan, head of digital for the media agency running the campaign.
