West, Texas, gets $100,000 from Albertsons

Albertsons Market customers in the South and Southwest have donated $76,000 through an in-store campaign to help victims of a fertilizer-plant explosion in West, Texas. The grocer contributed $24,000, bringing the total to $100,000. "I'm proud that our stores can enable customers to generously give to disaster-relief causes like this so quickly," said Mike Withers, president of the Southern division.
