Comcast to use Microsoft software for digital TV

Comcast announced it will license software from Microsoft to use in up to 5 million of its digital set-top boxes over the next two and a half years. The software, called the Foundation Edition, will act as a program guide and will allow features that include movies on demand and interactive games.
