FDA approves Remicade for children's Crohn's disease

Despite a recent study linking Remicade to an increased risk of some cancers in rheumatoid arthritis patients, the FDA approved the Johnson & Johnson drug for treating Crohn's disease in children. "The potential benefits of this product outweigh the risks that are known and have been carefully evaluated," an FDA official said.
