Frozen dessert manufacturers offer variety

New ice cream and yogurt treats such as Turkey Hill Dairy's Duetto, which is half soft-serve and half fruity ice, and Yogen Fruz, which is frozen yogurt with probiotics, are lower in calories than traditional ice creams and are taking hold of U.S. consumers. According to the USDA, reduced-fat, light, low-fat and nonfat ice cream account for 23.5% of the frozen dessert market.
