More focus on Canadian aggregate issues urged

Aggregate specialists in Canada are speaking out for better management of the resource. Delivering the 60 million tons of sand and gravel that Alberta uses per year requires about 1.8 million trips a year, and the environmental effects of the process deserve attention, the experts say.
