Report: Net auto ads to rank second to broadcast by 2010

Net ad spending for the automotive segment is projected to grow from $2.8 billion in 2007 to $4 billion in three years, according to a study from Borrell Associates. By 2010, online auto ads will rank second to broadcast TV and rank ahead of newspapers, cable TV, radio and direct mail, the report said.
