McDonald's puts its marketing heft behind new chicken sandwich

Although McDonald's dismisses any similarities as purely coincidental, its new Southern Style Chicken Sandwich closely resembles Chick-fil-A's popular signature chicken sandwich. McDonald's is pulling out all the stops for the launch of the new sandwich in all 14,000 of its stores with a multiplatform campaign. Chick-fil-A says it lacks the ad budget to take countermeasures.
