NYC adds to number of building inspectors

An increase in construction accidents has led New York City's mayor to agree to hire more building inspectors. The city will invest $5.3 million to hire 63 more inspectors to help ensure "that the city's diverse and talented construction industry takes responsibility for worker and public safety at construction sites," according to Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
