VW digital sign solicits interaction

As part of a new campaign geared around the tagline, "What the people want," Volkwagen is using a 3,685-square-foot digital billboard in New York's Times Square to ask passersby what they want -- using poll questions. People can interact with the billboard via voice and text message, using their mobile phones. Once a question tallies 1,000 votes, the results are posted online.
