Web creative goes global

U.S. agencies are increasingly outsourcing the production of Web ads to foreign companies that can complete the work at rates that are roughly 20% to 50% less than those of their domestic counterparts. While only a small portion of U.S. digital work is outsourced, agencies aren't just looking to save money -- there is a shortage of qualified workers in the U.S. with the necessary skills to produce online ads, this article says.
