FDA approves implantable device from Rafael Medical

The FDA has granted approval to Rafael Medical Technologies for its SafeFlo Vena Cava Filter, an implantable device meant to prevent pulmonary embolism by capturing blood clots caused by surgery, trauma and other conditions. The device is already approved in the European Union.
