LaFoy assumes presidency at L-3 Avionics

L-3 Avionics, a manufacturer of cockpit instruments for general aviation aircraft, has named a new president. Jay LaFoy replaces Adrienne Stevens, who left in March. LaFoy acknowledges he is taking the helm at a difficult juncture. "You only have to look at the performance of companies like Cessna to see what's happened to them," he says. "The avionics that go into their deliveries have also been affected."
