Swine flu scare continues to affect NYC schools

New York City's health department recommended the temporary closure of 30 schools, and another school made the decision on its own to close, after students reported flulike symptoms and officials feared the spread of the H1N1 virus, commonly called swine flu. "We continue to see a rising tide of flu in many parts of New York City," said Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden.
