Chrysler has named its new chairman: Former Duracell chief Robert Kidder. The battery experience may be helpful as the automaker tries to make headway in the electric car business, writes Ken Bensinger, but he wonders how much power Kidder will actually yield. When the company emerges from bankruptcy it will be married to Fiat, and that company already has has a powerful commander in CEO Sergio Marchionne, he notes.
