Wis. governor signs bill to require coverage of cochlear implants

Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle on Thursday signed into law a bill that requires private health insurers to cover cochlear implants, hearing aids and other treatment for people with hearing disabilities who are younger than 18. Wisconsin is the first state to implement such a measure.
