Wis. governor signs bill to require coverage of cochlear implants

Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle on Thursday signed into law a bill that would require private health insurers to cover cochlear implants, hearing aids and other treatment for hearing-impaired people younger than 18. Wisconsin is the first state in the country that will implement such a measure.
