CEO: At 50, Ronald McDonald has job security

McDonald's isn't giving in to calls from some quarters to retire its iconic clown, CEO Jim Skinner told shareholders Thursday. While detractors say Ronald McDonald promotes unhealthy eating habits among children, Skinner says Ronald is a "force for good," and an ambassador for the brand and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
