CEO to step down at American Eagle

Peter Bowler will step down as president and CEO of American Eagle, saying in his announcement that he is "proud of the fact that we have successfully navigated more than 11 years of constant change" while avoiding "bankruptcy or labor strife." Bowler has been president of the regional carrier since 1998 and CEO since 2006.
