Chicago man, TruGreen in dispute over dead shrubs

A Chicago-area man says TruGreen killed some of his shrubs on two occasions by inadvertently applying weed-killing chemicals in the area. The man sent the company a bill for $900 for the damage, but a representative told the man the company had decided not to reimburse him for the dead shrubs and blamed the deaths on deaths on "transplant shock." Instead, TruGreen gave the man credit for his last weed treatment, which cost $200, and offered two free treatments.
