Project aims to give rural patients in New Mexico access to telehealth

Project Hope, an international humanitarian aid group, has tapped Royal Philips Electronics' telehealth technology to provide chronically ill patients in rural New Mexico with access to health care professionals. The technology has patient education functions and enables providers to remotely track patients to allow for timely clinical decisions and to curb unnecessary hospitalizations.
