Study looks at the role of a high-carb diet in pancreatic cancer

High carbohydrate intake may be a consequence of pancreatic cancer and not a cause, according to U.S. researchers. Researchers said some patients, before they receive a diagnosis, may start to replace fatty foods that cause indigestion, a first sign of pancreatic cancer, with more digestible carbohydrates.
