Bausch + Lomb wins FDA nod for implantable eye device

Bausch + Lomb has obtained FDA approval for its Trulign Toric system, the newest addition to the company's line of products for patients with cataracts. The intraocular lens, which is implanted in the eye's capsular bag, is said to be the first such device intended to treat astigmatism and improve vision without glasses.
