Fla. DOT announces 4 finalists for $2.1B rebuild of I-4

The Florida Department of Transportation has named four finalists to compete for the 21-mile reconfiguration and renewal of Interstate 4. The contractor groups include I-4 Mobility Partners, I-4 Development Partners, 4wardPartners and Ultimate Mobility Partners. The $2.1 billion project will include the addition of four toll lanes. The winning bidder will be announced in June 2014, and the project could be finished in 2020.
