It's also a good idea to train your employees so they can perform multiple roles, notify clients before staff members take time off and have your workers maintain up-to-date job descriptions, she writes. "Prove that you support a healthy work-life balance by enthusiastically granting time off -- and taking a vacation yourself," Ford writes.
