IRS sued for wrongful seizure of medical records in class-action suit

An unnamed health care provider has sued the Internal Revenue Service alleging that the agency wrongfully seized 60 million medical records from 10 million Americans. The class-action lawsuit claims the IRS had a search warrant but it did not include medical records. Also the suit claims that the IRS was warned in advance that the seizure could violate medical privacy.
