Jolla debuts smartphone with Sailfish OS

Jolla, a company started by former Nokia employees who worked on the MeeGo operating system, has introduced a smartphone based on its Sailfish OS. The phone will be priced at about $500 when it goes on sale in the fourth quarter. It features a dual-core processor and a 4.5-inch display, and will run Android applications.
