National Disease Research Interchange receives grant for organ, tissue recovery

The National Disease Research Interchange has received a grant amounting to $6 million from the National Institutes of Health to be used for recruiting 250 organ and tissue donors for the NIH's Genotype-Tissue Expression initiative. The NDRI will be assisted by several groups in donor recovery efforts, including the Gift of Life Donor Program in Philadelphia and LifeGift in Houston.
