Opinion: Nvidia's Tegra 4i is fast, but not LTE-Advanced fast

The Tegra 4i processor Nvidia is demonstrating this week at CTIA 2013 can support download speeds of 150 megabits per second, but the chip's radio modem shouldn't be marketed as LTE-Advanced, Kevin Fitchard notes. "It’s calling its modem 'LTE-Advanced,' a benchmark no chipmaker in the industry is even close to matching. These chips are still 150 Mbps shy of meeting even the most minimal definition of LTE-Advanced," Fitchard writes.
