Plastic surgeon did triage after Boston bombings

Plastic surgeon Gregory Antoine, chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Boston Medical Center, spent the hours after the Boston Marathon bombings in the emergency department, treating victims' wounds and helping determine who needed immediate surgery. Antoine, who grew up tending his family's chickens, pigs and cows in Mississippi, is the first African-American plastic surgeon in the U.S. to head a plastic and reconstructive surgery division at a non-historically black medical school.
