The recruiting team at Opower gathers each week for Talent Tuesday to scrutinize their LinkedIn networks while listening to music and eating pizza. The company filled all but one of its 165 positions last year without the help of an outside recruiting firm. Companies looking to replicate Opower's success should consider upgrading their LinkedIn accounts and expanding their online searches to include websites such as Indeed and Glassdoor, Mark Cohen writes.
