Texas business council seeks to create STEM pipeline

Texas technology trade organization Metroplex Technology Business Council plans to help some Texas schools by developing programs that will provide students a connection between the project-based learning they do in school and the kind of work that awaits them after graduation. "When you consider the number of tech jobs available in this area, we need to do everything we can to ensure our public schools are meeting the needs of MTBC companies today and tomorrow," said David Vinson, superintendent for the Wylie Independent School District.
