Weak yen is unable to aid Japanese exports

Japanese exports increased 3.8% last month compared with April 2012. Economists had expected a 5.9% gain. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's stimulus policy has driven the yen to a 4½-year low, but weak demand from China and Europe has undercut the currency's ability to generate strong export growth.
