Opinion: Whitman and Bush were a shaky combo

A New York Times editorial says Environmental Protection Agency head Christine Whitman, who yesterday announced her resignation, was a bad match for the corporate-focused Bush administration. Though she did order General Electric to clean up the Hudson River, she was embarrassed by the Bush's withdrawal from the Kyoto Protocol on global warming.
