Judge rules for insurance firms in flood damage case

A federal judge ruled that insurance companies do not have to cover flood damage caused by hurricanes if homeowners carried only coverage for wind storms. The lawsuit was filed against Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance and State Farm. "You get what you pay for, and what they paid for was wind damage," said U.S. District Judge Richard Haik in a ruling Thursday.
