Google to track Hot Trends in search

Google Hot Trends is a new listing of the top 100 search trends that will be based on millions of searches conducted up to an hour before each update. The listing, which will be offered several times a day, replaces Google's Zeitgeist and Trends, which provided similar data -- several weeks later.
