Texas residents brace for storm season

In preparation for upcoming storms, residents in Texas coastal areas are advised to learn evacuation routes, while people living inland are asked to stay home to keep highways clear. Self-reliance is key, according to Harris County Judge Ed Emmett. "The government can only do so much," he says. "The first person you must turn to is yourself. Individuals have to make sure they're prepared."
